Gandhism: Need of the time

The countdown began… At the end of 20th century, it was time to find out person of the century. There were numerous great great men and women in the list and as end date started approaching the results were becoming clear.. Albert Einstein was the man of the century and amazingly defeating all other great people Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was chosen by the world at number 2.

Interestingly, Mr. Eintein has written about Gandhi as “The generations ahead will wonder if such a man walked on this earth”.. How true it was!!! Still the people across the world are following the power that the old man given to the world.

Irony begins here, In India there is fashion cropping up who feels very proud to say Gandhi was stupid.. But such comments do not make Gandhi worse but shows the level of thinking.

Just tell me is there a man in this nation who has power to start and stop an action from every single person of this nation. Yes there are leaders in the world who can start something with help of power but to stop the effects of it, they are helpless.

I just wonder you go into any issues or debates, the thoughts of this cloth less man still guiding whole world. He has amazing thoughts in discrete sections of society like sociology, mass psychology, agriculture, civilization, education, health, and so on.

He never wanted to have freedom without a society who can manage it!! He first wanted to make society mature enough to handle its own system. He not only wanted “Swarajya” but the “Surajya”.. he never tell anyone to jump into freedom movement.. to some guys he told to learn agriculture, so others he told to teach women and girls, to some he told to increase the plants in the areas.. he sent some to foreign to learn technology how to find water beneath earth accurately.. He was truly a fore sighted man!!

His suggestion “ Keep the rural India bound, use the material produced at the village in villages only.. Don’t make them available in the cities..” was the gem of suggessions. Cities will import the material for their need and reamining ¾ of India will survive on its own.

This is just an example, The interested can go on reading the books on Mr. Gandhi, His work his thoughts and then take a side.. Every one has opinions, but opinions should have base…Base less opinions are called Blind superstitions. I will finish my First ever Blog with an incident in Berlin on 3rd October:

A great Indian writer was roaming through the streets of Berlin. The day was 3rd October and a guy on road stopped him, and asked “Are you Indian??”, He replied “Yes”!.. the man just cried with full of anger and shouted “Why u guys killed Mr. Gandhi, you think he was your property??? Remember!! He was not only yours, he was worlds father.”
